Data retention

Any information supplied to Croydon Granite Ltd about yourself or your company is held in confidence and will not be passed to any third parties.

Any personal data we collect at the time of quoting and prior to completion of your order is protected and held in SSL encrypted cloud storage.

We do not store your personal data on a local network.

We do not store debit or credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Any communication by telephone is not recorded.

Any communication by email is kept for a minimum of one year, however, you will not receive any correspondence from us unless you choose to.

Any local data collected within our showrooms is done so ensuring security measures are in place, such as firewall protected internet and passwords.

We do not store data in automated software, any data used will be manually accessed and only be used by the relevant showroom staff.

If you wish for us to provide details of the personal data we hold for yourself, or wish for us to delete records of your personal data please inform us in writing.

If we provide you with a quotation you consent to us contacting you. If you do not wish for us to contact you please let us know in writing so we may destroy any data we hold.

We will never publish any aspect of your personal data on social media websites or marketing companies.

You have a right to be informed, so we will always ask you before we decide to publish images relevant to your order.

Any personal data we hold is retained for a minimum of three year.

Under contract you are required by law to provide us with personal data in order for us to contact you and process your order, if you do not wish to provide us your personal data we reserve the right to cancel the contract.

Complaints

We always endeavour to provide the best service and products for our customers. However, on rare occasions, we recognise that there may be times where our customers may not be completely satisfied.

To ensure we are able to put things rights as soon as we can, please read our complaints procedure below and we will respond promptly to ensure complete satisfaction.

As soon as possible after the completion of the works, please inspect the work to ensure everything has been carried out to our usual high standards.

In the unlikely event there is anything you are not completely satisfied with, please contact us as soon as you can in order that we can rectify any problems as soon as possible. We aim to respond within 2 working days of receiving your complaint and where possible, will provide you with a date to remedy any issues raised.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our data handling or retention you reserve the right to raise a complaint with the designated data protection supervisory authority the ICO.
